ABOUT
The Employment Consultation Center established in accordance with the National Strategic Special Zones Act provides support to help start-up companies and/or overseas companies expanding business into Japan understand Japanese employment rules, including those relating to recruitment and employment, correctly and launch their business smoothly, as well as to help employees of those companies fully exert their abilities and motivation in work.
Our services include consultations with experienced lawyers and public consultants on social and labor insurance and seminars by them.
The Employment Consultation Center is designed to prevent labor disputes from occurring, and therefore our services are available only for matters NOT IN DISPUTE.
Service
We provide support by lawyers and public consultants on social and labor insurance free of charge.
Our consultants are lawyers and public consultants on social and labor insurance familiar with labor-related laws and regulations.
We provide individual consultations conducted by lawyers familiar with labor-related laws, corporate legal affairs and the “Employment Guidelines” [1] with respect to your labor management and the compliance of your labor contracts.
Public consultants on social and labor insurance familiar with labor-related laws and labor management practices visit your company upon your request and give advice on your labor management tailored to the reality in your company. They also provide follow-up services to check how your company has been dealing with your labor management in light of their advice.
Consultations of features 2 through 4 are also available in English, Chinese and Korean through an interpreter or telephone interpretation services.

We hold seminars by lawyers and public consultants on social and labor insurance on such topics as labor-related laws and labor management practices and the “Employment Guidelines” [1] . Participation is free of charge.
The Employment Guidelines has been compiled through analyses and categorization of judicial precedents concerning labor relations (established by the Japanese government in accordance with the National Strategic Special Zones Act, Chap. 37, Sec. 2).
Our services are available to companies located and individuals working in the Kansai National Strategic Special Zone (Osaka, Hyogo, and Kyoto prefectures) that meet the following conditions.

After an initial general labor consultation with a lawyer or a public consultant on social and labor insurance, we will arrange for a consultation on highly professional matters or individual consultation visit upon your request.
Please inform us of a brief summary of your consultation and scheduled date and time of your visit in advance so that consultation with an appropriate consultant can be arranged.
